The Miu Miu Summer Club Malibu took place on Wednesday (July 26), at The Malibu Pier in California.
Taking place over a single day, Miu Miu paid homage to the quintessential beach town and landmark location through wellness activities, bespoke food and beverages and a sunset performance from Georgia Gets By.
I was really into Brie Larson’s Miu Miu grain de poudre mini-dress until I got the accessories.
The socks and shoe combo was too twee for her dress, and Prada nappa pocket bag didn’t feel like the right fit despite the military-inspired nature of the dress.
I was more enamoured by Bella Poarch’s Miu Miu look, as the pleated skirt sold the school uniform vibe I believe she was going for.
I have to say that this is easily one of Chloe Bailey’s best red carpet looks.
Usually there is an exhaustive process when dissecting her outfits, but on this occasion the Miu Miu technical silk mini-dress and her styling – which included a Miu Miu Wander matelassé nappa leather mini hobo bag and New Balance 574 x Miu Miu denim sneakers – feels effortless, playful, and authentic.
While I like the neutral tones of Emily Browning’s Miu Miu look, that second logo on the skirt feels totally unnecessary.
Miu Miu penny loafers and a Miu Miu hobo bag completed her look.
Ever Anderson’s Miu Miu look was the most beach ready look of them all.
Gigi Hadid brought her supermodel style to the beach, but I don’t feel like the loafer and heavy knit sock combo is the right fit for her style.
I would’ve loved Giveon’s Miu Miu look more if he had opted to wear a pair of trousers in the same colour as the parka.
I can (just about) overlook the logo on Hailee Steinfeld’s sequinned Miu Miu halter dress, but not the black accessories which included Miu Miu satin platforms.
Halle Bailey complemented her sister Chloe, with the similar parachute style Miu Miu sleeveless technical silk dress.
This was one of the few looks which was well-styled with Miu Miu padded thong sandals and cat-eye logo shades.
Harley Viera-Newton will always represent herself style-wise, and this Miu Miu red heart dress oozing with vintage-inspired femininity, perfectly demonstrates that.
A red Miu Miu Wander matelassé nappa leather mini hobo bag, and Miu Miu Mary Janes provided the finishing touches.
Joey King informs us that there were Miu Miu bags and shoes available in colours other than black.
Like many others, she could have relied on the black logo to tie in her accessories, but as always, she is much more savvy than that, which is why pink was such a refreshing choice on this red carpet.
Whenever there is a group event like this, I always consider which look I would wear.
Along with the Bailey sisters, I would rock this part bling, part everyday denim Miu Miu look worn by Kaitlyn Dever.
Miu Miu Arcadie matelassé nappa leather bag and Miu Miu patent leather sandals completed her look.

I will assume that the trousers are supposed to be super long, as the actor is 6ft 2, unless they were made for basketball player Victor Wembanyama who is 7ft 5.
Lili Reinhart didn’t get the beach attire memo.
However, I like how she stood out in this Miu Miu keyhole dress, but the leather boots by the sea in the middle of summer is just wild to me.
You can always rely on Logan Browning to serve up something cool and flirty.
She was easily one of the best dressed at this event.
As was Lucy Hale, who didn’t get the black or navy memo. And thank the lord she complemented her dress with the tonal accessories including the Miu Miu patent leather sandals and Miu Miu Arcadie matelassé nappa leather bag.
I wish Maddie Ziegler had worn the Miu Miu skirt back to front, as I love the effortlessness of this look which she styled with the Miu Miu Wander rattan bag.
Am I alone in feeling that this Miu Miu polka dot look ages Mia Goth?
Like Maddie, Mia also carried one of Miu Miu’s summer bags which was a cute crochet top handle design.
The one thing you won’t be when looking at a Natasha Lyonne look, is bored.
Everything has a quirk, but she has both the character, and personality to pull it all off. Even those Miu Miu thonged boots.
I can see that Nesta Cooper was going for the “I just threw this on” vibe, but I’m not entirely convinced.
Very few can sell the low-rise look to me, including Olivia Culpo.

Ruth Negga was always going to serve something that would ensure she stood out, and I think the yellow Miu Miu Wander bag and bralet made that happen.
Skai Jackson was another look I hugely admired for the relaxed nature, and easy wearability.
I do love a cargo-inspired daytime look.
I also admire Thuso Mbedu’s ability to make a paper bag pair of jeans work.
