On Thursday (July 27), Alison Loehnis, Interim CEO of YOOX NET-A-PORTER and President of NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER, and David Lauren, Chief Branding and Innovation Officer of Ralph Lauren hosted an intimate summer dinner at East Hampton Historical Society’s Mulford Farm.
The quintessential Hamptons evening began with al fresco cocktails in the garden, followed by dinner in the Mulford Barn which was reimagined with decorative elements from the Ralph Lauren Home collection.
Tables were dressed in the brand’s blue-and-white linens and set with one-of-a-kind dinnerware under a warm candlelit glow. The menu featured classic favourites from The Polo Bar.
Emma Roberts wore a Ralph Lauren Collection cropped silk polo shirt and Maguire maxi skirt, which was oozing with simple, summer evening, modern style.
I know logos aren’t favoured by most, so does Emma’s Ralph Lauren Collection The RL leather tote invalidate this look as being considered “Quiet Luxury?”
There is so much to love about Rupert Friend’s Ralph Lauren Collection knit sweater and linen trousers as they represent the quintessential elegance, and relaxed luxury that the label is known for.
I wasn’t sold Dianna Agron’s accessories, as I don’t feel that they complement her Ralph Lauren Collection crochet top and tailored trousers.
The contrast is too stark for my liking. Especially the shoes.
