Stormzy celebrated his 30th birthday in London on Friday (July 28), in the ballroom of the Biltmore hotel in Mayfair, London.
The man of the hour wore a Lanvin Spring 2023 technical wool suit which boasted both elegance and serious style credentials.
I’m most intrigued by the silhouette of the double-breasted jacket and the micro details, however, I’m going to guess that at no point were the Burberry patent leather boots included in the fitting considering the full break in the trousers.
We’ve seen this happen to Michael B. Jordan, where the height of the boots impacts the length of the trousers forming this dent/break, which makes the trousers appear too long.
Tiffany Lock bangles in rose gold and full pavé diamonds, along with a selection of Tiffany & Co. rose gold rings, and a Patek Philippe timepiece completed his look.
I low-key wish he had worn the turquoise version of this suit.

You won’t be surprised to learn that Damson Idris (who has been strangely mistaken for Idris Elba’s brother recently, despite not having the same last name), was wearing Prada.
While I’m enamoured by the light structure, single-breasted silhouette, and how the timeless design is given a contemporary edge courtesy of its intricate woven finish, I can’t say I’m a fan of the micro bow-tie, or the shades.
Thanks to the print on his Labrum suit, Michael Ward stood out from the sea of black suits which dominated this red carpet, but I can’t help but wonder how this would’ve looked with a contrasting (black or grey) shirt.

Unlike Damson, Skepta’s Prada look was instantly recognisable by the Prada plaque on his tie.
The look was styled with a custom baker boy hat by Benny Andallo, who has designed headpieces for Rihanna and SZA.
Wretch followed the black dress code, with his jacquard blazer stealing the spotlight.
Retired footballer Jermain Defoe opted for a classic Dior suit with a cummerbund elevating the look along with a Dior C_D silver brooch.
Burna Boy didn’t get the wear black memo, as he rocked up to this event wearing a cream monogrammed Louis Vuitton outfit.
