Jennifer Lawrence, Kathryn Newton and Thomas Doherty attended the 2023 WWD Honors held at Casa Cipriani on Tuesday (October 24) in New York City, where they all wore Dior.
Jennifer Lawrence was the picture of simple elegance wearing a Dior Spring 2024 black wool dress.
I love how flattering and elegant the design is, along with the sculptural Elsa Peretti® High Tide earrings which adds to the contemporary flair, but I’m baffled by the shoe choice.
As you know, I will always be Team any shoe colour, but black. But black would have been my preference here.
I also had an issue with Kathryn Newton’s styling, as I didn’t feel that black leather harness was necessary with this Dior Fall 2023 black shirt and printed silk skirt.
The harness feels at odds with her look, especially with the other dainty accessories.
Thomas Doherty can make just about anything work, but just like everyone else on this post, there is an accessory that didn’t work with his look for me.
That was those Dior black and white B57 sneakers, which I feel dial down the sophistication of his Dior men’s collection suit.
I would have preferred them in either just black or white.
