Two-time BAFTA Television nominee Munya Chawawa has spent the past month travelling the UK with his debut live comedy tour, a cultural experience that blurs the lines of entertainment, bringing aspects of music and fashion into comedy for a refreshing show that perfectly reflects the current zeitgeist. “This tour really feels like the new chapter in the Munyaverse,” Chawawa explains. “We tried to bring the magic of online to the stage and push the boundaries of what stand-up can be.”

A key player in bringing British comedy into a new age, Chawawa is known for his character-driven social content, wit and satire, and emerging presence in the fashion world. “We also worked with Levi’s and some of my favourite designers to use the stage as a runway,” he tells us. “It’s been absolutely electric and I really hope everyone who’s seen it has gone away thinking, just like my custom Zimbabwe piece with Levi’s, that show was one of one.”

We got an inside look at his style throughout the tour, with a fashion diary of his time on and off stage. Take a look…
