Underwater (Warner Music Group podcast network): Alexandra Shipp will join Jason Derulo in this new romantic, neo-noir thriller scripted podcast with two episodes dropping today, and new episodes each Tuesday. Set mainly in a high-end island resort, the series follows Nico (Derulo) and Ana (Shipp), whose deep romantic connection is threatened by lies and deception. It’s a rollercoaster love story told in the form of a narrative album, along with new, original music from Derulo. Available on all podcast platforms

Black Cake (Hulu): Showrunner/creator Marissa Jo Cerar tells Glamour that “Black Cake is an emotional family drama, wrapped in a thrilling murder mystery that spans from 1960’s Jamaica to present day California. Having filmed in Italy, England, Wales, Jamaica, and the United States, we explore the aftermath of the death of our narrator, Eleanor Bennett, who leaves her two estranged children a flash-drive that reveals long buried truths about her life before she became their mother. Every episode ends on a cliffhanger because we have so much mystery to unravel as the audience gets one step closer to solving a murder in the past, while also discovering how Covey, a runaway bride from Jamaica, became Eleanor, a suburban mom living in California. These are just two of the many mysteries in Black Cake.
