Awkwafina attended the 51st International Emmy Awards held at the New York Hilton Midtown on Monday (November 20) in New York City.
Did the one rare time that Awkwafina wore a brightly coloured dress and smile at the same time have to be this Marina Moscone plissé sheath dress?
The dress is pretty, and I love texture play and the fun twisted bust detail, but the dress does nothing for her, and makes her appear boxy, which she isn’t.
The styling didn’t help matters here either.
Hopefully she will give us an equally vibrant colour and this rare cute smile back in another look.
