Rosé, Jisoo, Lisa and Jennie, members of South Korean girl band Blackpink, attended the State Banquet held at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday (November 21) in London, where King Charles was hosting Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife Kim Keon Hee for their state visit.
We are used to seeing the girls dressed in Gen-Z mini dresses, even for prestigious events like the Met Gala, so it was refreshing to see the ladies looking very glamorous for the occasion.
It is safe to say that Saint Laurent ambassador Rosé is wearing a black strapless velvet dress designed by Anthony Vaccarello.
Jisoo wore a Dior Resort 2024 puffed sleeve -purposely- crinkled gown with the same Dior bag we saw Maya Hawke carrying the day before.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not sure a crinkled gown would be my first choice for my first visit to Buckingham Palace, and I do wish that Jisoo had kept the runway belt.
Lisa stole the spotlight wearing a heavenly Georges Hobeika Spring 2024 gown, which you may be surprised is ready-to-wear piece, as it has all the hallmarks of a Couture design.
Jennie also didn’t opt for black, standing out wearing a white off-the-shoulder gown which this picture probably doesn’t do it justice.
