Cynthia Erivo attended the Swarovski x SKIMS celebration held at the new Swarovski Flagship on Tuesday (November 7) in New York City.
The British actress is known for her love of layering on jewelry, so this was the right event for her.
On the top, she was rocking a black SKIMS Fits Everybody turtleneck top, styled with SKIMS V Cup chain and many more Swarovski pieces which I love.
However, the trousers hurt my soul.
These Max Mara herringbone wool wide-leg trousers from the Fall 2023 collection are cool for the asymmetric detailing and for being on trend with the oversized fit, but length is disappointing.
In all my years of covering Cynthia’s looks, this is the first time I am reminded that she is petite because she is overwhelmed by these trousers.
If you’re a ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ fan, you will know that Dorit Kemsley wore the trousers to Bravocon this weekend, with the matching bustier top we saw on the runway.
I have to say that the trousers do appear a little too big for Dorit as well, but at least the hem isn’t dragging on the floor.
