Ellie Goulding performed with Japanese superstar YOSHIKI alongside the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, for a unique classical show at the Royal Albert Hall in London last month.
The ground-breaking concert, featuring a full orchestra as well as singing and ballet performances, commemorated the 10th anniversary of YOSHIKI’s acclaimed Yoshiki Classical album.
Ellie’s red carpet looks can be understated from time to time, but for her performance looks, the British singer loves to be more creative.
If you’re familiar with celebrity stylist Kyle De’Volle’s work with Rita Ora, you won’t be surprised that they pulled this Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2023 sequinned mesh dress accented with a mix feather neckpiece.
In truth, it does feel like it was destined for Rita Ora, but I’m sure this ensemble was mesmerising on a stage as grand as the Royal Albert Hall.
This is the second time I have seen this look, as Leone Hanne wore it in the front row of the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2024 show back in September.
Leone positioned the feathers so they weren’t obscuring her face, but Ellie’s positioning adds to the intrigue.
