Saffron Hocking, Phil Dunster and Maro Itoje were dressed by Fendi for the British 2023 GQ Men of the Year Awards held in London on Wednesday (November 15).
Saffron Hocking looked beautiful wearing a silver Fendi Spring 2023 Couture mesh and lace overlay gown, but the mesh gloves didn’t work.
The issue is that they appear too big, which is why the ‘Top Boy’ actress is posing as she is, to prevent the gloves from falling, as they do on the runway.
This is a classic case of not every runway look needs the runway styling.
But as we know, most fashion houses do require this.

As you know I am a huge fan of the overcoat on the red carpet especially a pattern one like Phil Dunster’s Fendi Men’s coat.
The coat really is the hero piece of the ‘Ted Lasso’ actors look because I’m not totally sold on the sheer knit sweater or the leather trousers.
The style of his trousers feels a bit dated.
I can picture Right Said Fred performing on stage in the ’80s wearing those trousers while performing, “I’m Too Sexy.”
Rugby union player Maro Itoje was the only one here who scored a perfect 10, or ‘try’ to use a rugby term.
If there ever was a way to look stylish and season appropriate, this Fendi Men’s Fall 2023 total look was it.
