The singer and retail brand queen stepped out in New York City on November 28 wearing an outfit that would have made Dolly Parton proud. Simpson’s look began with a super-short cropped turtleneck and high-waist pants, both in black. Then the singer added an oversized brown fur coat and a pair of truly amazing thigh-high boots with cherry red cowgirl accents at the knee and toe.

To match the red of her boots, Simpson carried a bright red clutch bag and finished with oversized diamond hoops. A ’fit this dramatic deserves an equally dramatic beat, of course, which Simpson delivered with a bold smoky eye, a luxurious blonde blowout, and a very long manicure.
