Lupita Nyong’o made a return to the red carpet for the 2023 LACMA Art + Film Gala, presented by Gucci on Saturday (November 4) in California.
We haven’t seen the actress on the red carpet since the 2023 Tony Awards back in June, so I’m happy to see her in the spotlight once again wearing a custom look from Gucci.
From the colour to the delicacy of the point d’esprit fabric, I love the newfound energy this Gucci gown brings.
However, I understand if there are some of you disappointed to see Lupita give in to the allure of the Hollywood sheer gown.
But I’ll take a sheer Gucci gown from Lupita over her LBD era in Prada and Roland Mouret.

A stunning De Beers necklace and ring completed her look, along with her trademark bold lip and colour-block eyes to mesmerise.
