It was at this moment, I realised I’m yet to put together Margot Robbie’s promo tour looks for ‘Barbie,’ as I was secretly hoping her stylist Andrew Mukamal would release the looks we didn’t see when the SAG-AFTRA strike hit.
I don’t know about you, but it felt kinda strange to see Margot not wearing pink, as she stepped onto the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Saltburn’ on Tuesday (November 14) alongside her co-star Carey Mulligan.
As much as I am Team Chocolate Brown at the moment, it can be a difficult colour to pull off depending on the shade.
I say all that to say that I’m happy that the chocolatey hue makes up the satin and tulle gold brass eyelets accented corset on Margot’s Schiaparelli Fall 2023 Haute Couture dress, because I’m not completely sold on the shade of brown of the extra- wide trapeze pants.
Or. It could be that I’m not crazy about how thick and heavy this bronze velvet is.
Either way, this look was refreshing. Mostly because it was an unexpected colour choice, and it wasn’t predictable in being from Chanel. And I’m glad she didn’t wear any of the gimmicky Schiaparelli jewelry.
ROSEARK jewels completed her look.
