I could literally end this article with just that one word alone, because I feel like this moment has been a long time coming.
It’s fair to say that once Gucci Premiére was no more, Salma’s magic moments in Gucci were few and far between, but that changed for the for the 2023 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 4) in California, where the actress looked breath-taking in this custom Gucci design.
If there is any event where Salma should outshine all others, it is this one. After all, she is the first lady of the Kering Group, and this was a Gucci hosted event.
And shine she did wearing a gown which contours her curves, and made her dazzle like a diamond…a rose gold diamond.
No doubt, when you panned down to the skirt, you started immediately making a comparison to Jessica Chastain’s ombre Gucci gown, which the actress wore to the ‘Memory’ Venice Film Festival premiere back in September.
What that tells me is that Gucci is focusing on sustainability, and who better to push that statement than Salma?
The look was perfectly styled with Boucheron’s Lierre de Paris asymmetrical pendant earrings, set with diamonds, on pink gold.
Ignoring the silver bag with this dress, can we take this moment to acknowledge how Rebecca Corbin-Murray has been on fire for the last six months.
