Timothée Chalamet attended the ‘Wonka’ photocall held in Pottersfield Park on Monday (November 27).
I’m sure that no one is surprised to see the actor wearing Alexander McQueen considering this photocall was in London, and Timothée’s last three premieres in London have seen him dressed in Alexander McQueen.
We’ve had floral McQueen, zipper McQueen, and all-white McQueen.
This time we have pinstripes, and a striking silhouette thanks to the layered, tailcoat-inspired design of the jacket which seeks to reinvent the meaning of tailoring, while instilling a sense of sartorial wit to this outing.
The jacket feels apt for this promo tour, considering the costume worn by Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka character has always worn a tailcoat.
I’m not surprised to see Timothée’s shirtless rendition of the look, nor his styling which included McQueen’s Wander lace up boots, and Cartier jewels.
