Timothée Chalamet hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend, a few days after SAG-AFTRA tentatively approved a deal to end the strike after 118 days.
This was the second time that Timothée has hosted the show, using the opening monologue to promote his new film, Wonka, as so many hosts have done so before him.
Singing a parody of the iconic “Pure Imagination,” he sang, “Come with me, and you’ll be in a world of shameless self-promotion…— it’s OK, I can say…” before bursting out saying, “My new film ‘Wonka’ is coming out in theatres December 15th″.
This is the first time he could promote the highly anticipated film.
But for most of us, it’s the promo tour we are most intrigued about.
Timothée opened SNL wearing a Celine Homme Fall 2023 brod medallion embroidered jacket.
You might be surprised to see that he didn’t wear the leather skinny trousers as the total runway look is perfect for him.
Some might say that it appears custom made as Hedi Slimane’s 1970s and ’80s Pete Doherty inspired rocker looks are a perfect fit for Timothée’s style.
Instead he wore black satin trousers which made sense for the quick change he would’ve made for the first skit.
Cartier jewels completed his look.
