Tracee Ellis Ross made a return to the red carpet for the world premiere of Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Candy Cane Lane,’ held at the Regency Village Theatre on Tuesday (November 28) in Los Angeles, California.
This Brandon Maxwell Spring 2024 ensemble was just OK for me.
I love the colour of the cape, but I wish it wasn’t so transparent, and I wish the cape felt less like the beginning of a design process prior to the magic happening.
You know the part in ‘Project Runway’ when Tim Gunn turns to the designer with a piece of fabric on the mannequin and says, “make it work.”
That’s what the cape is giving.
You might look at this and say that it’s not living up to a “world premiere,” but looking at the other attendees, this was very much a casual affair, so I’m not mad at the M.O.
