George Clooney was joined by his wife Amal Clooney for the premiere of ‘The Boys in the Boat’ held at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Monday (December 11) in Beverly Hills, California.
It may be George Clooney’s film, but this is Amal Clooney’s promo tour.
It’s raining in London (what’s new?) and my curtains have been drawn with the lights on since 2.30pm, as it has been so dark and miserable, so I’m delighted that Amal gave me a serotonin-boost wearing this yellow Versace dress.
Who needs vitamin D when Amal serves up effervescent yellow.
This dress may seem a bit maximalist, too flamboyant or a colour too summery for this time of year, the hue – as well as the design – is inherently timeless.
And on trend if we consider Gwyneth Paltrow’s Carolina Herrera gown from last week, Awkwafina’s recent yellow outing in Marina Moscone, and Ava DuVernay’s moment in Miu Miu.
I’m here for yellow’s turn in the spotlight.
Cartier High Jewelry platinum, yellow and white diamonds earrings, a Panthère de Cartier bracelet, a Broderie de Cartier ring and Étincelle de Cartier ring completed her look along with yellow pumps and an embellished clutch.
