2023 was Margot Robbie’s year.
Not only did she have the best promo tour for ‘Barbie,’ but the film also made a record-breaking $1.44 billion in the box office.
I don’t want to dwell too much on what could have been, as the promo tour was cut short due to the strike, but in my fantasy land we were well on our way to the first triple-figure-outfit-change promo tour.
Whether you loved this promo tour, or thought it was too literal, there is no denying how impactful it was, and how much fun was had by all.
This tour exceeded my expectations, as I didn’t see how Margot could keep up the Barbiecore of it all throughout, as some promo tours trail off after the first wave, but to her credit, Margot kept it up, and the tour never lost it’s appeal.
I don’t think we’ll see another promo tour like it.
