Carey Mulligan joined Maya Hawke on the red carpet for Netflix’s ‘Maestro’ premiere on Tuesday (December 12) in Los Angeles, California.
When it comes to Hedi Slimane and his Celine red carpet gowns, the creative director motto will always be, “it don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that bling,” because Slimane’s obsession with sequins is unmatched.
But the sequins don’t steal the show here, as I’m more blown away by the structure of the design.
Considering how the dress drapes, some might feel that it afforded Carey ample space to add a statement necklace, but Carey has always been a less is more kinda girl when it comes to accessorising, so I love how she kept this look simple and clean.
The focus remained on the dress which also scoops seductively low at the back.
Bulgari jewels completed her look.
