Fantasia Barrino had one more look before leaving London, where she was promoting her new film, ‘The Color Purple.’
We’ve seen many jackets which are shaped to nip-in the waist, but the magic of a Dolce & Gabbana Dolce-fit jacket is something to behold.
Expertly tailored from the sharp shoulders to its nipped-in waist, this look – styled with the label’s signature satin lace skirt and balconette bra – might eventually edge out her Christian Siriano look as my favourite from this promo tour.
I love drapery, but I love sharp tailoring more.
Dolce & Gabbana accessories including a pair of PVC slingback heels, which made me zoom in to see if she was wearing shoes, completed her look.
Back in New York, the actress continued with another Dolce & Gabbana look for TV show appearances.
I’m not sold on the strapless satin bustier dress as I don’t feel it’s as flattering as first look.
Plus, the chocolate-black combo isn’t working for me.
The idea was great, but swap out the brown dress for black and I would have lapped this up.
I have to say that this team effort (hair, styling, makeup and photography) during this promo tour has blown me away. Fantasia has never looked better.
