Taraji P. Henson, Fantasia Barrino and Danielle Brooks attended SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations ‘The Color Purple’ on Tuesday (November 28) in New York City.
Taraji P. Henson wore a Rabanne long sleeve dress which presents this eye-catching red and white 3D geometric motif that not only pops against the plush velvet construction, but also her red boots.
In comparison, Fantasia Barrino opted to go muted wearing a Michael Kors Collection one sleeve knit dress.
The actress took some inspiration from the runway styling, until she got to the footwear.
Usually, we only see these style of boots worn by Mary J. Blige in thigh-high form, but I love how these boots bring plenty of attitude to Fantasia’s look.
Danielle Brooks didn’t get the “boots memo,” as the actress styled her cream wrap dress with platform peeps.
