Timothée Chalamet, aka Moddedcontroller360, announced that Fantasy RPG Baldur’s Gate 3 won the top prizes at the 2023 Game of the Year Awards – the video game industry’s biggest awards ceremony – on Thursday (December 7) in LA, prior to his ‘Wonka’ LA premiere this weekend.
The actor wore a Celine Homme three-piece pinstripe flannel suit.
If your reaction was that this feels very formal for a video game awards ceremony, you are not alone.
This is the type of event where I would have expected a boiler suit, a Helmut Lang leather vest or graffiti-painted dungarees to have been worn, but the actor went the “expect the unexpected route,” or perhaps I’m undervaluing how formal this event can be.
But you have to say this is the smartest he has looked all year, along with his looks from the WSJ. Magazine 2023 Innovator Awards and the Chanel dinner.
