Timothée Chalamet attended the ‘Wonka’ Canadian fan screening held at the Cineplex Cinemas Yorkdale on Wednesday (December 13) in Toronto, Ontario.
The actor started off this promo tour wearing a Prada boiler suit, which we thought was an indication of what we could expect from the rest of the tour, but that wasn’t to be the case.
Timothée followed up with a selection of suits from Alexander McQueen and Tom Ford marrying traditional tailoring with an element of redefining.
If that was the M.O. for this promo tour, Timothée was on theme wearing this Prada double breasted houndstooth degradè to black suit which gives contemporary cachet to a classic silhouette.
I don’t know about you, but this is what I have been waiting for from Timothée, something that will leave a lasting impression and remind us why we put him on a fashion pedestal in the first place.
On this occasion I love how the colours of the suit amplify the white gold, onyx, opals, tourmalines and emeralds of his Cartier necklace.
I must prefer the necklace styled with this suit over the London premiere Tom Ford suit.
