Tracee Ellis Ross attended the New York screening of ‘American Fiction’ held at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Sunday (December 10).
Much like the LA screening, I am completely underwhelmed, and this is coming from someone who wanted to see these oversized Loewe Spring 2024 knits on the red carpet.
And the issue is much the same as Tracee’s last outing: the fit.
The jeans are too long, and dare I say unflattering on Tracee.
You might feel that my gripe with Tracee’s new style chapter is much the same as Jodie Turner-Smith, in that my favourites who always brought plenty of colour to the red carpet, are now stepping into the dark side, but this isn’t the case.
The issue on this occasion is the sloppy fit. Yes the desire fit is oversized, but the runway vision hasn’t translated into reality.
This isn’t something I expect from Tracee or her team, but there is no way they had a fitting before she stepped onto this red carpet. I refuse to believe it.
Some have said that Tracee tries too hard, this is not trying hard enough for me.
