It seems like Ariana Madix’s lawyer is finally dealing with Tom Sandoval.
On January 6, People reported that the 38-year-old Dancing With the Stars finalist is suing her ex-boyfriend over their shared Valley Village home. According to court documents obtained by the publication, Madix is asking a judge to order a sale of the California property they purchased together in 2019—before Sandoval cheated with their costar Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, of course.
While People reports that Madix wants to split the proceeds with her ex, she is reportedly against a “division in kind,” which would allow either of them to sell their half of the property to a third party. Yeah, that sounds like it could cause a lot of drama…well, more drama.
Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval have been regularly cohabitating since their split in March 2023, but that doesn’t mean their home life is amicable. Madix explained the awkward situation to her Vanderpump Rules costar Scheana Shay in August during an appearance on Shay’s Scheananigans podcast. Basically, Madix wasn’t willing to “squander” her financial security to get away from her ex.
“I have never been someone who came from money. I know how quickly that goes away. I’m taking care of myself,” Madix told Shay, per Us Weekly. “I have a pretty decent setup. My room is kind of like my little apartment. I stay in my own little zone.” She does, however, sleep with her door locked “just in case.”

Before Vanderpump Rules, before Scandoval, before the (almost) 2 million Instagram followers, she was a master of reinvention. The newest version of Ariana Madix? Stronger, freer, and—yes—richer.
“There’s something to be said for that—just toward the end of [our relationship], while he was having the affair, him staying out late all the time was always something that made my anxiety super, super bad,” Madix said. “In that regard, I sleep a lot easier at night not giving a fuck about when he is coming through that door. That is one thing I have to say about us living in the same house. I don’t have to think about how he is coming into my bedroom because he is not.”
With this loose end on its way to being tied up, there’s only one real question left to ask: Did Sandoval do something to Ariana’s dog?!
