Dua Lipa’s hit ‘Dance the Night’ was nominated in the Best Original Song – Motion Picture for ‘Barbie’ on Sunday at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.
The British singer’s bubble-gum hues seem to be on permanent hiatus, as Dua’s love for darkly romantic looks have taken over.
Much like Carey Mulligan’s gown, Daniel Roseberry sought inspiration from Elsa Schiaparelli’s 1938 collaboration with Salvador Dalí.
The design was realised in a black velvet bustier gown featuring the label’s trompe l’œil gilded bones in diamond and Schiaparelli gold.
When I was having a Golden Globes debrief with my sister earlier today, she said that she wasn’t a fan of the silk satin faille skirt, whereas I love the uniqueness of the silhouette.
This gown would have sat in the been there done that camp had this been just a velvet column gown.
A Tiffany & Co. Archives necklace in gold and platinum with yellow beryl, topaz quartz and diamonds with a yellow sapphire ring and Jimmy Choo Drop Heel sandals completed her look.
