Now that things on the awards ceremony front have quieten down for the time being, I’m going to catch up with some other looks until the AFI Award Gala, Critics’ Choice Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards roll around.
This past weekend Emma Stone attended W Magazine’s Annual Best Performances Party at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, before the Golden Globe Awards.
The Louis Vuitton ambassador wore a look from the Spring 2024 collection which immediately reminded me of Jennifer Connelly’s 2023 Academy Museum Gala gown on account of the stripes, even though Jennifer’s look felt futuristic.
On Emma, I’m thinking that the shade of yellow is too harsh for her.
I would love to see this look on Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jurnee Smollett, Cara Delevingne, or someone who could inject some attitude into the look.
This feels a little too directional for Emma, and I don’t believe the look suits her style personality at all, especially with this styling.
