I don’t think I have shouted the word, “FINALLY” so loud in my life.
Florence Pugh was underwhelming at the Golden Globes, but she turned things around at last night’s 2024 Governors Awards in California.
Many of you felt that Lily Gladstone’s green version of this Rodarte Spring 2024 dress worn to the 2024 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards, needed the straps, so you’ll be delighted to see Florence didn’t apply those same modifications.
This feels like such a modern Marilyn Monroe moment for Florence. The British actress has such a great personality, but often her red carpet looks are underwhelming, and I have been shouting from the rooftops that she deserves more.
The most exciting thing about this look is that it doesn’t have a tulle skirt, and I love how the embellished rose petal echoes the label’s romantic vision.
This is a rare 10-out-of-10 for Florence.
Lets hope she has another two of three of these to get her (and us) through awards season.
I honestly can’t take another one of those gowns.
