The 2024 National Board of Review Gala also saw Jessica Chastain make her first red carpet appearance of the year on Thursday evening in New York City, where she presented the Best International Film to Justine Triet for ‘Anatomy of a Fall’.
Jessica had a bit of a rollercoaster of looks on the red carpet in 2023, but she started the year in fine form wearing a signature Vivienne Westwood gown.
Considering Vivienne Westwood’s unparalleled corsetry, it’s no surprise that the label’s gowns continue to be a celebrity favourite. If anything, they are growing in popularity if 2023 is anything to go by.
I mean. Can one ever tire of this silhouette? I think not.
Especially when presented in such a hypnotic magenta hue, and the drapery is never identical as each piece has its own twist, in more ways than one.
If I was to nit-pick, I don’t think she needed this necklace as I don’t feel it adds anything to the look. I think I would have preferred statement earrings.
