Margot Robbie attended the 2024 Critics’ Choice Awards where her film ‘Barbie’ received six awards Best Original Screenplay, Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, Best Hair & Makeup, Best Comedy and Best Song for ‘I’m Just Ken’ on Sunday.
Barbiecore fatiguers can rejoice as Margot opted to wear a custom red Balmain gown inspired by the 1996 Radiant Rose Barbie.
You may recognise the wet leather-on-bust technique, as we saw it back in 2021 when Zendaya wore a custom Balmain gown to the Venice Film Festival ‘Dune’ premiere.
The gown is breath-taking for its ability to gracefully contour the body, with the standout feature bring the bursting bouquet of handmade leather roses accenting the neckline.
This detail adds a romantic touch to the ensemble, while showcasing the versatility of leather.
Who knew leather could be so romantic.
Red Manolo Blahnik sandals completed her look along with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
