Cate Blanchett is one of the guest presenters for tonight’s 2024 BAFTAs.
The Australia actress brought her usual style of effortless glamour to the event wearing a custom Louis Vuitton burgundy open-back sleeveless gown featuring a leather high collar, which was oozing with a sophisticated mood and air of exceptional elegance.
How is this non-repeat gown in keeping with Cate sustainability stance?
The compact crepe jersey sourced from the Maison’s existing patrimonial stock.
And it not just her gown, as Cate also wore unique, repurposed Louis Vuitton High Jewelry necklace.
Born from the collaboration between Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Watches and Jewelry, Francesca Amfitheatrof and Cate Blanchett, the creation gives a second life to the pearls from Cate’s 2023 BAFTA High Jewelry design, while the stones and materials have been sourced from five archival High Jewelry creations.
The look was completed with two rings from the Louis Vuitton High Jewelry collection.
