Donald Glover attended the Amazon Prime premiere for ‘Mr & Mrs Smith’ held in Brooklyn on Wednesday.
We’re used to seeing Donald serving up boldness, a nostalgic colour palette, retro-inspired fits, and patterned suits which makes his style so unpredictable and individualistic.
What we love about Donald is that he never looks like he’s trying too hard.
He really is a one-of-one.
However, I was surprised to see his latest look from Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God label as the relaxed cuts and dusty, tonal colour scheme is the complete opposite to everything we have learned about Donald Glover’s style.
This minimalist, pared back, lapel free, clean-lined look shows that Donald can also comfortably do contemporary suiting.
The only thing I might considering changing about this look is the cummerbund, as it makes Donald appear like he has a really short torso, and shorter overall.
