Kylie Minogue attended Variety’s 2024 Grammy Celebration held at Mes Amis on Thursday in Los Angeles, California.
For her second pre-Grammy event, the Australian singer wore a gorgeous blue Versace Barocco-lace embellished satin midi dress which was recognisable from the Medusa ’95 hardware at the shoulder straps.
However, looking at the model’s version of the dress and Kylie’s version, it is clear that some modifications have been made.
Perhaps Kylie felt that the dress was a little too straight up and down, and didn’t celebrate her curves, so the cowl-neckline has been pinned so there is no longer a drape.
And the skirt has also been pinned which not only shortens the dress, but it also gives the dress some ruching and drapery around her hips.
I’m blinded by the colour, but I believe that these modifications were made to shorten the dress. Kylie is very petite, so I believe changes were made so the didn’t appear to be drowning in fabric.
