Meghan Markle’s winter wardrobe is a treasure trove of covetable millennial staples, and no item is seeing as much action during her recent visit to Canada as her skinny jeans.
After opting for a nearly all-white ensemble at an Invictus Games event on February 14—featuring a pair of skinnies tucked into her Sorel Joan of Arctic boots—the Duchess of Sussex continued to utilize formfitting denim as the foundation for three more distinct ‘fits.

While this was the perfect look to take in an indoor game of wheelchair basketball, she needed to get a bit more bundled up for an afternoon at another training camp. As Prince Harry personally tested out the outdoor skeleton track for next year’s games, Markle opted to cheer from the sidelines in another pair of winter boots, black skinny jeans, and a blue puffer coat that matched her warm scarf and beanie.
How many skinny jean and boot combos can one women wear over the course of three days? At least four! On February 16, Markle once again paired her black skinny jeans with a sleek pair of black riding boots for a wheelchair curling event at the Hillcrest Community Centre in Vancouver.
For this look, Markle wore a robe-style camel coat with an elegant pair of beige leather gloves. Though she’s largely worn her hair down during the Canada trip, she showed off a pair of gold earrings with an unexpected low side ponytail featuring a deep side part.
Listen, I love baggy denim as much as the next girl—and I’m even coming around to horseshoe jeans—but skinny jeans and boots are a classic combination for a reason.
