You can always expect the unexpected with Miley Cyrus at the Grammys, and in that regard, she didn’t disappoint.
Nominated for six awards including, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album, the singer stepped onto the red carpet wearing an Artisanal dress designed exclusively for her by John Galliano for Maison Margiela.
I have a feeling many elements will be turning people off from this look, but you can’t knock the craftsmanship, as you can see from the close that the dress is made up of thousands of gold safety pins, which drew inspiration from the captivating goddesses of the silver screen.
If I could change anything about this look, I would remove the central fringed detail.
I know many of you are saying, “what about the hair?”
But it feels like a beautiful ode to her godmother Dolly Parton, so I’m here for it.
