There were plenty of men on the red carpet for Oscars Nominees Luncheon which was held at The Beverly Hilton yesterday in California.
We start, as always, with Ryan Gosling who has presented a winter colour palette from Gucci so far for Awards Season, so I was delighted to see him back in the pastel hues he usually gravitates towards with this lilac tonal look.
Thankfully the Horsebit loafers aren’t a prerequisite for Ryan’s custom Gucci looks. But I do remember a time when they were.
Minimalist isn’t a word I would use to describe a Colman Domingo look, but in this Givenchy suit we will also add relaxed elegance to his many sartorial talents.
As much as I love it when celebrities do something different, I’m kinda on the fence when it comes to Jon Batiste styling his contrast lapel Casablanca Spring 2023 suit with a red turtleneck.
I think a white turtleneck would have perhaps presented a more uniform look. Black would have been too easy of an option, but it would have presented a much smoother look.
What do you think?
Christian Louboutin Roadyrocks boots completed his look.
Greta Gerwig wasn’t the only director in attendance.
Ilker Çatak, director of ‘The Teachers Lounge,’ wore a Max Thomas Sanderson suit.
I love how the brand’s unique and contemporary take on tailoring is reflected in the design thanks to contrasting white stitching throughout, which according to their Instagram, was done by hand.
