Anya Taylor-Joy, who joined the ‘Dune: Part Two’ promo tour in London – much to our surprise – reconnected with her co-stars in New York for what was her second premiere.
The actress is the second celebrity to wear a look from the much-lauded Maison Margiela Artisanal 2024 collection designed by John Galliano, which sees her continuing her transparency theme.
I know you don’t love a sheer look, but the highlight of this black gown is that it’s layered over an antique lame, bias-cut siren dress which is worn over a corset.
Some might feel that her look is too witchy, gothic, or vampy for this promo tour, but I like how the gold layer keeps this on the sci-fi theme.
Anya styled her look with red velvet and leather Tabi pumps by Christian Louboutin for Maison Margiela, which was inspired by the “Faux-Cul” an undergarment worn by ladies in the late 18th century exaggerating the curves of the low part of the back.
Interestingly, the actress was sporting a similar hairstyle to Zendaya.
