Austin Butler might have felt like he was third wheeling the fashion love affair that Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet were having at the ‘Dune: Part Two’ press conference in Seoul earlier today.
In most cases, I would be saying that he is letting the side down, but we were only expecting those “fashion moments” from Z and Timmy during this promo tour.
Austin continues to stay in his own very fashionable lane, but some might say that lane is too conservative, repetitive, or predictable.
Personally, I like that the actor is staying in his comfort-zone with this Valentino look especially designed for him by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli.
He was not only the epitome of understated elegance, but this look also presents a modern mood in a tonal palette.
And let’s face it, he would have looked like he was trying too hard if he had also stepped out in a boiler suit.
