The Super Bowl has yet to begin and people are already discussing what’s next for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
According to a new report by Us Weekly, the 34-year-old NFL player is about to become a regular fixture in The Eras Tour’s VIP tent. “After the Super Bowl, Travis will be joining Taylor on her tour and traveling with her,” a source told the publication. “They are happy and looking forward to spending more time together.”
Since going public with their relationship in September, the 34-year-old pop star traveled to multiple Kansas City Chiefs games, seemingly leading to a ratings surge for the NFL, as well as criticism over her screen-time during broadcasts. “I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once,” Swift told Time in her Person of the Year interview, published in December 2023. “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
She continued, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care. The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
It’s unlikely Travis Kelce will face the same criticism from Swifties for his presence at the Eras Tour. When the 34-year-old tight end attended the Eras Tour in Argentina on his weekend off from football, Swift adjusted a “Karma” lyric believed to reference her ex, Joe Alwyn, to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.” The crowd—and spectators watching live streams at home—went wild. She continued to sing the new version during her performances in Japan.
