Zendaya Wore Torishéju Dumi For The 'Dune: Part Two' Mexico Photocall

Zendaya’s promo tour for ‘Dune: Part Two’ was highly anticipated, and for good reason.

The actress will always give us the story of the film she’s promoting through what she is wearing.  She is the only person – along with Anya Taylor-Joy – who can embody her character through fabric alone.

Chani is a bad-ass warrior, and that is what we saw with her first leather look on Jimmy Kimmel, and now in this look from Torishéju Dumi’s Spring 2024 collection.

Torishéju Dumi is a London based designer with Nigerian heritage who just debuted her first collection during Paris Fashion Week.

Her wrapping technique is formed by the nonchalant elegance of traditional Nigerian lappa garments juxtaposed with deconstructed British tailoring.

Law Roach must have been beside himself when these looks were storming down the runway because this looks like it could have come from the ‘Dune’ costume department.

Credit to Zendaya, who will always take a look and elevate it, and credit to Law, who has always championed up-and-coming black designers.

Had it not been for Law, most of us would not be familiar with this designer.

The look didn’t need much in terms of accessorising, but Zendaya did wear her new favourite Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps and Bulgari jewels.

The hime inspired hairstyle she was rockin’ all fashion week, has been replaced by a sleek low bun.
