Anne Hathaway attended the world premiere of ‘The Idea of You’ held during the 2024 SXSW Conference and Festival in Austin, Texas, where the actress wore a Patou Spring 2024 mini dress.
Patou’s creative director Guillaume Henry successfully married a vintage silhouette with modern reinventions in the design of this mini dress, which has been modified from the runway.
Who knew that a mini could be such a master of opulence, as this piece boasts a beaded and rhinestone-adorned composition.
Considering the ‘60s-inspiration of this dress, I’m surprised that Anne didn’t serve up her go-to beehive.
Aquazzura Sundance platforms, a Bulgari Serpenti Baia bag and Bulgari jewels completed her look.
For the press conference, Anne wore a Valentino top which I love for the plush feather hem which created a beautifully textured finish.
As for the rest of her look, I struggled to get on board with her Victoria Beckham patchwork jeans.
Jeans with this top was a good idea. Just not those jeans.
