Before Saturday night’s 2024 NAACP Image Awards, a dinner was hosted at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday.
Golda Rosheuvel always gives off a regal energy, much the same as Helen Mirren.
And that energy was amplified 10-fold when she stepped onto this red carpet wearing a purple Naeem Khan Fall 2023 ostrich gown.
Mostly because of the sheer magnitude of the gown, but also the colour, because purple is so strongly associated with royalty.
Alberta Ferretti often revisits the classic slip dress as the silhouette is both graceful and seductive, simultaneously.
Some might think this white and black lace trimmed dress should have been saved for Aja Naomi King’s boudoir, but I love how the silky fabric drapes effortlessly, creating a liquid-like form making for a simplistic yet elegant design.
Styled by Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald.
Following her beautiful looks at both the Oscars and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Gabrielle Union went back to basics wearing a Burberry Pre-Fall 2024 halter dress.
I like the rosette details which kept this look alive, but I would have preferred this in any colour other than charcoal.

Wow. Kelvin Harrison Jr. was not to be missed in this Prada Fall 2024 look.
It’s not easy to pull off red technical trousers and a yellow leather geometric belt, but somehow Kelvin manages to do it.
I think I like this more than his Prada look at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Keith Powers’ Dolce & Gabbana houndstooth wool suit might not have been as colourful, but the sartorial elegance of his coordinated look was apparent for all to see.

The first day of Spring isn’t officially until March 20, so Justice Smith was still well within his rights to serve up this lush green Jack Victor velvet suit.
