It has been a busy time for Dakota Fanning who is in the spotlight while she promotes her new Netflix’s series, ‘Ripley.’

I will always associate the Fanning sisters with neutral tones, and pastel hues, so this burgundy Altuzarra Varda skirt gave this look a somewhat new feel.
I’m really into the Carolina Herrera-ness of it all with the white shirt from The Row.
Some will feel that this look is too big for her, but I’m enjoying how unpredictable this outing.
Cartier jewels completed her look.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Keeping the rouge hues mood going, Dakota wore a red John Galliano Fall 1999 backless dress from Shrimpton Couture.
From the swirl design, slinky silhouette and radiant hue, this was the perfect way to bring a touch of glamour to this promo tour.
Dakota’s stylist Samantha McMillen enjoys dipping into the archives, if her recent work with Brie Larson in Christian Lacroix Haute Couture for the PGA Awards and Elle Fanning in Pierre Balmain for the Golden Globe Awards is anything to go by.
Gold Gianvito Rossi Ribbon sandals completed Dakota’s look.

I love the uniqueness of Dakota’s Simkhai Samba ivory silk dress which boasts a sartorial upper half that cascades down a playful wrap skirt.
However, some might not be so enamoured with the tail of the shirt being visible, but this upholds the modesty feel for me.

However, if you ask me to pick one of Dakota’s ivory dresses, I will take the sensual sophistication of this Anna Quan Eleni dress.
It’s the elegant drapery (as always) for me.
Manolo Blahnik Racita slingback sandals were paired with both dresses.

It may be a little hard to see from this dark picture, but Dakota is wearing this black dress from Spring 2024 collection of The Row, with the jacket we see in the look book.
I can picture the likes of Zoe Kravitz and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wearing the dress on its own, but considering how nondescript the dress is, and how sheer it appears, I can see why Dakota kept the blazer.
It also adds a cool element to the look.
My favourites here are the Anna Quan, closely followed by The Row.
