The secret behind the healthy hair look? It was all thanks to Wella Professionals ULTIMATE REPAIR range.
From the designs to the finished hair — strong, sleek, confident, and smooth was everywhere on the Autumn/Winter 24 Victoria Beckham runway at Paris Fashion Week. Beckham has always placed a high focus on showing off the silhouettes that grace her runway as well as gorgeous skin — and to do so, she needed a hairstyle that suited her designs. Clean, low ponytails gave an effortless feel to her designs and were created to coincide with her pieces.
With a more artistic flair than past seasons, Beckham’s show featured expert tailoring, the silky silhouettes she’s known for, and a focus on proportions. Many of her pieces are expertly engineered to add length to the legs and shape to the shoulders.
To keep the audience’s eye on her designs she worked with Lead hairstylist Anthony Turner who said, “I love Victoria and we spoke at length about the texture of the hair primarily. Should it look messy? Wet? Sleek and chic? We tried lots of variations, but Victoria loved the silk-textured hair look. For this to be achieved, I use Wella Professionals ULTIMATE REPAIR which helps me to ensure that I’m delivering 99% less damage* to the models’ hair as I’m smoothing it out. The ghd Chronos Styler is my go-to for smoothing hair quickly – it delivers incredible performance backstage being 3 times faster** for the ultimate Victoria Beckham smooth, sleek results that I need.”
