For those of you that have been longing for Oscar night to be the closing chapter for ‘Barbie,’ you got your wish, as Margot Robbie stepped out onto the red carpet for the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party not wearing a hint of pink.

The actress may have surprised us all wearing a Mugler Spring-Summer 1996 gold embroidered corset bustier dress with an organza overcoat from the Les Colonnes collection, but this feels like a final nod to ‘Barbie’ if you consider the silhouette this piece gives her.
The style shift was welcome, but I do wish they had done something different with her hair to celebrate the uniqueness of her ensemble.
