At the start of the ‘Dune: Part Two’ promo tour, I’m not sure many of us had much confidence in Florence Pugh, especially when all the attention was likely to be on the fashion powerhouses that are Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet.
As you know my check list for Florence’s ‘Dune’ promo tour was as follows:
1. Flattering looks.
2. No Valentino tulle gowns.
3. Something with plenty of attitude that suits her personality.
4. A memorable moment.
And I was delighted to check all four, which ended up as being a memorable promo tour for the English actress.
I prayed we would get one magic moment which she delivered in London wearing Valentino, but we got two additional moments in Maticevski for the London photocall, and Valentino Haute Couture for the New York premiere.
I would also love to give a special shout out to the Alberta Ferretti suit from the press junket, which was the only memorable look from Mexico.
