Cynthia Erivo was joined on stage at CinemaCon 2024 yesterday in Las Vegas by her ‘Wicked’ co-star, Ariana Grande.
Cynthia’s Elphaba promo tour green will be Ariana’s Glinda pink, which also started for the singer at the Super Bowl and 2024 Oscars.
While my expectations for this promo tour are high for Cynthia, I am going to temper them for Ariana because my feeling is that her tour will be overwhelming gown after overwhelming gown, and this based purely on what we have seen from her before.
But promo tours are different from awards season, so we will have to wait and see.
This Oscar de la Renta strapless pleated organza petal mini dress from the Spring 2024 collection was a typically fun-loving and lively look from Ariana.
I can’t say I’m excited about the shoes here, but I think I might carrying over some white pumps fatigue from Zendaya.
