Billy Porter attended The Williams Institute’s 2024 The Legacy Gala honouring Chuck Williams on Thursday in Los Angeles, California.
The actor was once lauded for his style, then he kind of lost his way; aligning his red carpet looks towards shock value rather than the elegance, style and taste we were used to.
You might be looking at Billy in this École Primaire Japanese denim jacket and feel that he has still lost his way.
But the only thing throwing me off loving this look is the cut-out in his jeans.
The jacket is very well made, with the white tulle bringing that touch of flair you would expect from any Billy Porter look.
Heavy footwear is par for the course with Billy, so I don’t ever take them into the equation when critiquing his red carpet looks.
